NFL Notes: Bengals, Chiefs, Colts & Giants

Bengals

  • Buffalo QB Joe Licata is scheduled to work out for the Bengals on Monday. (Tyler Dunne)

Chiefs

Chiefs GM John Dorsey mentioned during an interview with Pro Football Talk that fifth-round pick Tyreek Hill isn’t guaranteed a roster spot this summer, despite his draft status.

Hill has already apologized and has been seeking treatment for the domestic violence incident at Oklahoma State involving a then-pregnant girlfriend.

“What he has to do is he has to continue to receive counseling,” Dorsey said. “He has to continue to be in our program, and that’s what it would do. By no chance is he guaranteed a spot on this roster.”

Colts

  • Mike Wells of ESPN writes that even though the Colts need some pass rush help, he believes there’s “no chance” of them bringing back veteran Dwight Freeney.
