Broncos HC Vance Joseph announced Monday that they’re sticking with Trevor Siemian as their starting quarterback, despite his recent struggles.
“Absolutely. He’s our quarterback,” Joseph said, per Nickiย Jhabvala. “He can’t play well if he’s not being protected.
“He can play better, absolutely. But it’s not a Trevor problem. It’s the unit’s problem.”
- Joseph also mentioned that WR Emmanuel Sanders, WR Isaiah McKenzie, and RT Menelik Watson were all upgraded to day-to-day and have a chance to return in Week 8. (Mike Klis)

Packers
- Packers HC Mike McCarthyย explained that Aaron Rodgers‘ broken collarbone is serious enough that it’s at least an eight-week injury: “There’s a reason he’s on IR. It’s a minimum of eight weeks and the worst-case scenario he’d be lost for the season.” (Rob Demovsky)

- Texans HCย Bill O’Brien said Monday that he could see LT Duane Brown playing in Sunday’s game against the Seahawks, despite ending his holdout and reporting to the team today. (Sarah Barshop)

Vikings
- Vikings HC Mike Zimmer told reporters that he anticipates both Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater will travel to London with the team. (Courtney Cronin)
- Zimmer said there’s a possibility WR Stefon Diggs (groin), OL Nick Easton (calf) and CB Mackensie Alexander (hip) could all return this week. (Courtney Cronin)
- Zimmer also mentioned that they don’t believe OT Riley Reiff‘s knee injury is anything “too serious.”
