NFL Notes: Broncos, Panthers, Rams & Titans

Broncos

WR Emmanuel Sanders may not play for the remainder of the preseason as he is still recovering from a hamstring injury that he sustained during warm ups for the preseason opener on Aug. 14.

The expectations are for him to maybe be on the field [for practice] by the end of the week or beginning of next week,” said HCย Gary Kubiak, via Jeff Legwold of ESPN. “We have good news on him and weโ€™re doing everything we can to get him ready for our opening weekend, basically.”

At this point in time, Sanders is not believed to be at risk of missing Week 1 of the regular season.

Panthers

  • HC Ron Rivera said that DT Star Lotulelei is “right on track” to return from a foot injury in time for the regular season opener.

Rams

  • With RB Todd Gurley being medically cleared from a torn ACL on Monday, he participated in team drills with the first-team on Tuesday. (Nick Wagoner)

Titans

  • NT Sammie Hill has been activated from the PUP list, after recovering from a knee sprain he sustained in May. (Jim Wyatt)
