WR Emmanuel Sanders may not play for the remainder of the preseason as he is still recovering from a hamstring injury that he sustained during warm ups for the preseason opener on Aug. 14.
“The expectations are for him to maybe be on the field [for practice] by the end of the week or beginning of next week,” said HC Gary Kubiak, via Jeff Legwold of ESPN. “We have good news on him and we’re doing everything we can to get him ready for our opening weekend, basically.”
At this point in time, Sanders is not believed to be at risk of missing Week 1 of the regular season.
