NFL Notes: Dez Bryant, Buccaneers, Panthers, Seahawks

Dez Bryant

Free agent WR Dez Bryant tweeted Monday night that he plans to play this season, but he may wait until the season is already underway before joining a new team.

“I can I just have to take care of me first. [G]ave to much love and not received at least half back,” Bryant wrote. “I will play ball this year just might be a lil bit later in the year. [W]e will see.”

Buccaneers

  • Rick Stroud mentions that Buccaneers LB Riley Bullough has his right foot in a boot, which could lead to the team waiving him with an injury designation in the coming days.

Panthers

  • Panthers HC Ron Rivera said Tuesday that G Amini Silatolu ahead of RT Daryl Williams in terms of his recovery because of the difference in the severity of their respective injuries. (Joe Person)
  • According to Rivera, they will decide in coming days whether to place Williams on injured reserve.

Seahawks

Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin said Tuesday that he will play in the team’s season opener, but his knee is something he will have to manage all season.

“I haven’t felt 100 percent since I was born,” Baldwin said, via ESPN.com. “I’m probably about 80-85 percent right now, and the truth of the matter is that it won’t be 100 percent. It’s something I’ve got to deal with for the rest of the season.
