Chiefs

Saints

On Tuesday, Saints DB Sterling Moore agreed to re-sign with New Orleans (NFLTR). However, Moore told Sirius XM NFL Rado that he was actually close to signing with another team.

โ€œI was close to choosing another team, but New Orleans came back with an offer and thatโ€™s where I wanted to be,โ€ Moore said.

Seahawks

Sheil Kapadia of ESPN writes that the Seahawks trading CB Richard Sherman would make โ€œzero sense.โ€

In case you missed it, former Patriots executive Michael Lombardi mentioned on The Ringer podcast โ€œThe NFL Showโ€ that the Seahawks would be open to trading Sherman for the right deal.

โ€œI truly believe, based on what I hear around the National Football League, that the Seahawks would, in fact, for the right deal, trade Richard Sherman,โ€™โ€™ Lombardi said. (NFLTR)

Kapadia goes through a number of reasons why Seattle should include hold on to Sherman including the fact that heโ€™s an elite player, wouldnโ€™t be easily replaced and the Seahawks arenโ€™t in a bad cap situation among others.
