NFL Notes: Draft, Cowboys, Eagles, & Steelers

Draft

• Tony Pauline reports that German WR Moritz Boehringer is participating in an open workout for all NFL teams at Florida Atlantic on Friday, and the Bengals, Panthers, Saints, Patriots, Bears, Jets, Broncos, Bills, and Falcons are all on hand for the session.
• Oklahoma WR Sterling Shepard has a workout with the Rams next week, and has previously met with the Panthers and Texans. (Sirius XM NFL Radio)
• Houston RB Kenneth Farrow has been invited to the Texans and Cowboys’ local prospect workouts. (Aaron Wilson)

Cowboys

• Oklahoma OL Nila Kasitati and LB Frank Shannon are visiting with the Cowboys. (Jason Kersey)
• SMU S Shakiel Randolph, K Chad Hedlund and OL Kris Weeks are all participating in the Cowboys’  local workouts. (Clarence Hill)
• TCU S Derek Kindred, QB Trevone Boykin and RB Aaron Green are also at the Cowboys’  local workouts. (Clarence Hill)

Eagles

• Matt Miller of B/R reports that Eagles executive Howie Roseman isn’t happy with how previous head coach Chip Kelly evaluated receiver prospects, and is “very interested” in drafting some receivers this year.

Steelers

• The Steelers’ predraft visitors include: South Carolina State DT Javon Hargrave, Maryland DL Quinton Jefferson, Northwestern DE Dean Lowry, and Ole Miss S Demontrae Elston. (Mark Kaboly)
