Draft

• Tom Pelissero reports that the starting this fall, the NFL will open the process of bidding for future drafts to interested teams.
• According to Pelissero, Chicago will be part of the process.

Giants

• The Giants have Rashad Jennings listed as the first-team running back on their unofficial depth chart.

Jets

Former Jets LB IK Enemkpali issued a statement following his release from the team on Tuesday for punching QB Geno Smith:

“I apologize to the Jets organization, coaches, teammates & fans. Geno and I let our frustration get the best of us. I should have just walked away from the situation. It was never my intention to harm anyone. I appreciate the opportunity I had with the Jets.”

Albert Breer reports that the fight between Smith and Enemkpali in the Jets locker room was over money.

Redskins

• Redskins TE Niles Paul underwent an MRI on his shoulder, but the results came back negative.
• HC Jay Gruden added that TE Jordan Reed is day-to-day with a hamstring injury.

Texans

• Texans have both Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett listed as starters on their recently released depth chart.
• Houston has Alfred Blue is listed as the No. 1 running back on their unofficial depth chart.
