Marcus Lattimore

Former 49ers RB Marcus Lattimore will return to the University of South Carolina as an ambassador after he retired from the NFL.

“I’ll most likely work with the university, coach (Ray) Tanner, president (Harris) Pastides, coach (Steve) Spurrier, whatever they need me to do,” Lattimore said, via David Cloninger of GoGamecocks.com. “No official title that we have talked about yet, but we’re trying to get something nailed down.

Browns

Titans

  • Impending free agent OLB Derrick Morgan mentioned that the Titans have not approached him about an extension. (Terry McCormick)
  • Paul Kuharsky expects OT Michael Roos to find interest from teams in need of a left tackle.
  • Kuharsky doesn’t see any way QB Jake Locker returns next year given his injuries and the fact that he’s not a fit in Ken Whisenhunt‘s system.
