Jaguars GM David Caldwell told Pro Football Talk on Thursday that heโ€™s confident second-round LB Myles Jack wonโ€™t need microfracture surgery.

In fact, Caldwell said heโ€™d be a โ€œfull goโ€ if they were already practicing.

โ€œRight now, heโ€™s full go,โ€ Caldwell said. โ€œIf he was in spring ball, heโ€™d be able to participating at UCLAโ€™s practice, according to his operating surgeon. We look forward to getting him out here and practicing and if something does arise we do have a good plan for it. I donโ€™t think the plan involves microfracture [surgery]. I feel confident with the kind of people weโ€™ve consulted and our medical staff. I donโ€™t think heโ€™s a candidate for that from what Iโ€™ve been told, but there may be need to be a procedure somewhere down the line. As of right now he looks good, he feels good, and heโ€™s ready to go.โ€
