Top 100 Free Agents
- We updated our Top 100 Free Agents list following franchise/transition tags and a number of roster cuts on Monday.
Falcons
- According to Vaughn McClure of ESPN, there have been ongoing discussions between free agent DT Corey Peters and the Falcons.
- Though, McClure adds that it’s unclear exactly where the two parties stand at this point.
Redskins
- Kevin Sheehan mentions that if Cardinals NT Dan Williams makes it to free agency next week, the Redskins will be among the interested teams in him.
Saints
Saints HC Sean Payton mentioned that free agent RB Mark Ingram is “someone that we want to keep.”
“I spoke with Mark today,” Payton said, via Nick Underhill of the Advocate. “The good thing about Mark is that we’re very close with his agent. Mickey (Loomis, the Saints general manager) will talk with him quite a bit. Obviously Mark is someone that we want to keep. Hopefully we can do that.”
Steelers
- Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette mentioned last night that if the Steelers lose OLB Jason Worilds in free agency, look for them to target a pass-rushing OLB in free agency and use a high pick on one in the draft.
