NFL Notes: Greg Hardy, 49ers, Broncos, & Patriots

Greg Hardy

49ers

49ers OC Curtis Modkins mentioned that there’s still no timetable for QB Colin Kaepernick (surgeries) to resume on-field work.

I think what’s important he gets cleared when he’s healthy,” Modkins said, via CSN Bay Area. “There’s no timetable.”

  • Modkins also admitted that he has “no idea” when Kaepernick will be medically cleared. (Matt Barrows)

Broncos

Broncos executive VP John Elway mentioned that they would ideally be able to sign franchise OLB Von Miller, RFA LB Brandon Marshall and WR Emmanuel Sanders to long-term deals this summer.

The ideal thing would be to get all three of them done (by mid-July),” said Elway, via The Gazette. “That’s kind of the goal.”

Patriots

  • Tom Curran has spoken to sources who have expressed confidence that Patriots WR Julian Edelman (foot surgery) will be ready for training camp.
