Nate Davis of USA Today updates his NFL Hot Seat rankings following Week 2’s slate of games. According to Davis, the coaches on the seat include:

  1. Bills HC Rex Ryan
  2. Jaguars HC Gus Bradley
  3. Redskins HC Jay Gruden
  4. Chargers HC Mike McCoy

Davis also has Rams HC Jeff Fisher and Falcons HC Dan Quinn on “cooler seats” for now.

  • Falcons HC Dan Quinn said things are looking up for first-round S Keanu Neal in regards to his  return from a knee scope. (Vaughn McClure)
  • According to D. Orlando Ledbetter, Falcons WR Julio Jones is dealing with a “minor calf bruise” but should be fine.

Steelers TE Lardarius Green tells Mark Kaboly of that he only had the one surgery on his back that took place back in January.

“I just had one,” Green said. “Everything went well, but it is just taking longer than we expected.

Green added that he’s still expecting to return in Week 7.

“It’s going well,” Green said of the rehab process. “Yeah, I hope (to return for Week 7). That’s what I am aiming for to be able to get back.”
