NFL Notes: LeSean McCoy, Jaylon Smith, Draft, 49ers, & Bears

LeSean McCoy

Pennsylvania Solicitor General Bruce Castor said the attorney general’s office plans to take another look into Bills RB LeSean McCoy‘s involvement in a bar fight with two off-duty police officers in February, despite the fact that no charges were filed against McCoy, due to insufficient evidence.

“I think it’s completely accurate to say LeSean McCoy and anyone else allegedly involved in this incident are not totally cleared,” Castor said to CBS Philly.

Jaylon Smith

According to Dane Brugler of CBS Sports, Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith will likely sit out the 2016 season due to the serious knee injury he suffered last year. Brugler mentions that possible nerve damage is the main concern for Smith right now.

Brugler adds that there’s a “good chance” Smith could end up being a day-three pick in this year’s draft.
