Marcus Mariota

  • Liz Mullen reports that Oregon QB Marcus Mariota has signed with the Rep 1 Sports and agents Ryan Tollner, Bruce Tollner, and Chase Callahan.

Broncos

Cowboys

Wichita police have released the 911 calls from the incident involving Cowboys RB Joseph Randle.

An unnamed caller, who identified herself as the mother of Randle’s child, made several accusations in the first call that Randle had threatened her and another woman with a gun, and was in possession of a large amount of marijuana.

“He pointed the gun in front of the mother of his child and he pointed it in front of this other female … we have our child here and he has a lot of weed,” the woman said, via NBCDFW.com. “Joseph Randle just broke a window, he pointed a gun in front of somebody’s car and then he busted her window open … he plays for the Cowboys.”

However, the woman later called back and said that  the police were no longer needed as nothing was wrong.

“I was just talking to someone. I’m the woman that called about Joseph Randle. Um, you guys don’t have to worry about it. We talked it out. We just talked it out, it’s fine. Everything’s fine. We just talked to him and everything’s fine now,” the woman said. “Everything’s fine now, you don’t have to worry about it though. Just, please don’t come.”

Police still cited Randle for possession of marijuana, although this was later dropped.

Falcons

Redskins

  • John Keim writes that if they Redskins where to lose RB Roy Helu in free agency they could consider signing guys like C.J. Spiller or Frank Gore.
  • Although Keim admits that Spiller is likely to be a pricey option and they could only offer him a part-time role with Alfred Morris already on their roster.
