• ESPN’s Britt McHenry reports that that Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (concussion) is “fine” and has a chance to play in the team’s third preseason game.

Eagles

• Eagles former first-round OLB Marcus Smith said he’ll be out 2-3 weeks and expects to be back before the start of the season. (Jeff McLane)

Raiders

• Adam Caplan reports that the Raiders worked out S Ahmad Dixon earlier in the week.

Rams

• Rams rookie WR Isiah Ferguson announced via his Twitter account Friday that he’s been diagnosed with a torn ACL and meniscus.

Steelers

• Jeremy Fowler reports that Steelers second-round CB Senquez Golson underwent shoulder surgery this week, and is expected to be out “a while.“
