NFL OTA Notes: Thursday 5/29

Here’s a running list of notes from Thursday’s OTA practices. We’ll have updates added through the day, so be sure to check back.

49ers

• HC Jim Harbaugh mentioned that he’s “seeing really good things” from veteran WR Brandon Lloyd so far. (Matt Maiocco)

Bengals

• TE Jermaine Gresham is sitting out OTAs with an undisclosed injury. (Geoff Hobson)

Chiefs

• TE Travis Kelce is currently without a timetable to return to practice. (Terez A. Paylor) – Update

Colts

• Colts CB Greg Toler is participating in OTAs. (Stephen Holder)

Cowboys

• MLB Sean Lee is getting a second opinion on his torn left ACL, but will likely undergo surgery in 2-3 weeks. (Jason La Canfora) – Update
• Dallas is not expected to use Bruce Carter at middle linebacker following the injury to Sean Lee. (Todd Archer)

Eagles

• WR Jeremy Maclin and QB Mark Sanchez are both full-go for Eagles OTAs. (PhiladelphiaEagles.com)
• The Eagles have Nate Allen and Malcolm Jenkins manning their starting safety positions in OTAs. (Geoff Mosher)

Falcons

• LT Sam Baker is participating fully during the Falcons’ OTAs. (Vaughn McClure)
• WR Darius Johnson worked with the starters on Wednesday due to Julio Jones and Roddy White‘s absence. (D. Orlando Ledbetter)

Giants

• HC Tom Coughlin said that LT Will Beatty, OL John Jerry and WR Mario Manningham will all be out until training camp. (Jordan Raanan)
• RB David Wilson is hoping to be cleared for contract next Wednesday. (Dan Graziano)
• OL John Jerry had knee surgery and will miss the Giants’ offseason program. (Bart Hubbuch)

Packers

• CB Casey Hayward is participating in the Packers’ OTA session on Thursday. (Tyler Dunne)
• Second-year DB Micah Hyde lined up with the first-team defense at safety on Thursday. (Jason Wilde)
• Bryan Bulaga and J.C. Tretter lined up with the first-team offensive line at right tackle and center. (Jason Wilde)

Panthers

• Second-year G Amini Silatolu is doing well in his recovery from ACL surgery as he was able to do everything except 11-on-11 workouts on Wednesday. (Jonathan Jones)
• Starting RG Chris Scott left Wednesday’s OTA practice 20 minutes early due to fatigue from the heat. (Jonathan Jones)

Ravens

• NT Haloti Ngata, DE Terrell Suggs and DE Chris Canty were not at voluntary practice on Thursday. (Aaron Wilson)
• RB Bernard Pierce has been limited during OTAs, but is expected to be ready for training camp. (Jamison Hensley) – Update
• DT Terrence Cody “has a shot” to be ready for training camp as he recovers from hip surgery. (Jamison Hensley) – Update
• OL Jah Reid is dealing with a calf injury and is expected to miss a “couple of weeks.”  (Jamison Hensley) – Update

Redskins

• WR DeSean Jackson has been sitting out of 11-on-11 due to what appears to be a tight hamstring. (Dianna Marie Russini) – Update
• TE Jordan Reed mentioned that he dealt with headaches and nausea for two months last season. (Dianna Marie Russini)

Saints

• Saints HC Sean Payton told reporters on Thursday that offseason acquisition S Jairus Byrd is undergoing surgery on his back today. (NFLTR)

Seahawks

• HC Pete Carroll told reporters on Tuesday that second-year RB Christine Michael will “get a ton of work” this season. (Terry Blount)

Texans

• Second-year WR DeAndre Hopkins mentioned that he’s “nowhere close to where [he wants] to be” in the Texans’ new scheme. (Deepi Sidhu)

Vikings

• HC Mike Zimmer mentioned that LT Matt Kalil had a procedure done four or five weeks ago. (Vikings Update)
