NFL OTA Notes: Thursday 5/29

Bengals

Chiefs

  • TE Travis Kelce is currently without a timetable to return to practice. (Terez A. Paylor– Update

Colts

Cowboys

  • MLB Sean Lee is getting a second opinion on his torn left ACL, but will likely undergo surgery in 2-3 weeks. (Jason La Canfora) – Update
  • Dallas is not expected to use Bruce Carter at middle linebacker following the injury to Sean Lee. (Todd Archer)

Eagles

Giants

  • HC Tom Coughlin said that LT Will Beatty, OL John Jerry and WR Mario Manningham will all be out until training camp. (Jordan Raanan)
  • RB David Wilson is hoping to be cleared for contract next Wednesday. (Dan Graziano)
  • OL John Jerry had knee surgery and will miss the Giants’ offseason program. (Bart Hubbuch)

Packers

Panthers

  • Second-year G Amini Silatolu is doing well in his recovery from ACL surgery as he was able to do everything except 11-on-11 workouts on Wednesday. (Jonathan Jones)
  • Starting RG Chris Scott left Wednesday’s OTA practice 20 minutes early due to fatigue from the heat. (Jonathan Jones)

Ravens

  • NT Haloti Ngata, DE Terrell Suggs and DE Chris Canty were not at voluntary practice on Thursday. (Aaron Wilson)
  • RB Bernard Pierce has been limited during OTAs, but is expected to be ready for training camp. (Jamison Hensley– Update
  • DT Terrence Cody “has a shot” to be ready for training camp as he recovers from hip surgery. (Jamison Hensley– Update
  • OL Jah Reid is dealing with a calf injury and is expected to miss a “couple of weeks.”  (Jamison Hensley– Update

Saints

  • Saints HC Sean Payton told reporters on Thursday that offseason acquisition S Jairus Byrd is undergoing surgery on his back today. (NFLTR)
  • TE Jimmy Graham is sitting out Saints OTAs. (Katherine Terrell)
  • Second-year S Kenny Vaccaro has been full go in OTAs. (Mike Triplett– Update

Seahawks

Texans

  • Second-year WR DeAndre Hopkins mentioned that he’s “nowhere close to where [he wants] to be” in the Texans’ new scheme. (Deepi Sidhu)
