NFL Rumors: Cullen Jenkins On The Bears Radar?

As John Mullin of CSNChicago.com sees it, the Chicago Bears could target former Green Bay Packers DE Cullen Jenkins once a new CBA agreement is in place.

“The Bears have their targets identified for whenever free agency opens.  Green Bay’s Cullen Jenkins projects as the priority,” Mullin writes.

Mullin also identifies DT Anthony Adams and C Olin Kreutz as some other priorities for the Bears.

Bringing in Jenkins would help to upgrade their defensive line depth but he has dealt with some injuries in recent years and his age is another concern but he’s has been a very productive player for the Packers when he was on the field. Chicago seems to always be looking for an edge on the Packers and this move could do that much while filling a roster hole.
