Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the Atlanta Falcons may consider trading up for Georgia WR A.J. Green if he falls to No. 6 which is held by the Cleveland Browns.
Earlier in the week there were reports that the Browns are considering trading down in the draft but it was speculated that they would only be trading back a few positions rather than the back end of the first-round.
On paper, the Falcons would have one of the most formidable offenses in the league with addition of A.J. Green as their No. 2 wide receiver. Atlanta already has Roddy White, who is coming off his best NFL season, along with Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner as offensive options for their star-quarterback Matt Ryan.
In order for a deal like this to get done, Atlanta is going to have offer some solid value to convince a team that has plenty of needs and could use a wide receiver like A.J. Green to trade down into the later part of round number one. The idea is very interesting to say the least.
