- Mike Jones reports that the Redskins are not interested in signing former Browns free agent S Donte Whitner.
Veteran free agent QB Michael Vick said that he would like to play for one more season in the NFL.
“I’m 35, about to turn 36,” said Vick, via David Teel of the Daily Press. “I’ve got one more dedicated season in my blood, if somebody needs me to come in. But I’m kind of happy where I am right now.”

Texans LT Duane Brown said he expects to be recovered from quad surgery he had in January in time for Week 1 of the regular season.
“Absolutely, absolutely, that’s the plan. Anything before that, we’re not really sure yet, but game one I expect to be out there”, said Brown, via Mark Berman. “Everything has been coming along great, rehab’s going well. I’m on schedule, very optimistic.”
