ESPN’s John Clayton is reporting that the consensus around the league is that the Titans will end up having to release Vince Young rather than finding a willing team that will trade for him.
Clayton mentions that “everybody on the coaching staff wanted Vince Young gone (last year).”
The one factor that makes a deal for Vince Young unlikely is that he’s due $13 million for next. For that price you should expect to have a much more solid quarterback than Vince Young. Releasing him would allow teams to pick him up without the huge price tag.
