NFL Suspends LB Azeem Victor 10 Games

The NFL has suspended LB Azeem Victor for 10 games in 2019, per Howard Balzer.

Victor, who’s currently a free agent, spent time with the Seahawks and Buccaneers on the practice squad last season. 

Victor, 23, was drafted by the Raiders in the sixth round out of Washington in 2018. Victor signed a four-year, $2.6 million contract, but was waived coming out of the preseason. 

Victor has yet to appear in an NFL game. 

During his four-year college career at Washington, Victor recorded 198 tackles, 14 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, an interception, three forced fumbles, two recoveries, one defensive touchdown and 10 pass defenses over the course of 34 games.
