Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that Oregon QB Vernon Adams has scheduled a tryout with the Redskins for after he works out for the Seahawks in the coming days.
Adams, 23, wound up going undrafted on Saturday and is currently among the more notable rookie free agents. It’s actually a little surprising that he’s being forced to try out for teams, but these are both interesting options for him.
In 2015, Adams totaled 2,643 yards passing while completing 64.9 percent of his passes to go along with 26 touchdowns and six interceptions for Oregon. He also contributed 147 yards rushing and rushing two touchdowns.
