The Packers also activated RB Chris Brooks from the NFI list and he returned to practice, per Matt Schneidman.
Brooks, 25, signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of BYU in May 2023 and wound up cracking their active roster.
However, Miami ended up cutting Brooks with an injury designation in August 2024 and he signed with Green Bay’s practice squad shortly after. He was promoted to the active roster two weeks later and remained there since.
Brooks was set to be a restricted free agent in 2026 when he signed a two-year, $4.85 million extension with the Packers.
In 2025, Brooks appeared in all 17 games for the Packers and recorded 27 rushing attempts for 106 yards (3.9 YPC) and no touchdowns. He also caught 13 passes for 91 yards.
