Williams, a former third-round pick, was competing for a reserve spot in Green Bay’s edge-rushing group.

Williams, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2017. He was in the third year of his four-year, $3.39 million contract and stood to make base salaries of $690,000 and $790,000 over the final two years of the agreement when the Ravens waived him last year.

Green Bay claimed Williams off waivers but later cut him and added him to the practice squad. Williams re-signed to a futures deal for 2020.

In 2019, Williams has appeared in four games for the Ravens and recorded two tackles and no sacks.
