Packers Hosted S Curtis Riley For Visit

Update:

Tom Silverstein reports that free agent S Curtis Riley left his visit with the Packers without an agreement in place and it appears as though the two parties will both seek other options.

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Packers hosted free agent S Curtis Riley for a visit on Monday.

This is the first reported interest in Riley since the free agent market officially opened.

The Packers have already signed Adrian Amos to a contract, as they look to rework their safety position, but it appears as though they still keeping an eye on other available options.

Riley, 26, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State back in 2015. He was on and off of their roster for two years before signing on with the Giants last year.

Riley is, once again, testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2018, Riley appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and recorded 75 tackles, four interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown and five pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 79 safety out of 93 qualifying players.
