Packers Place K Mason Crosby & CB Josh Jackson On NFI List

The Green Bay Packers officially placed K Mason Crosby and DB Josh Jackson on the non-football injury list on Thursday.

Both players will still count against the team’s 90-man limit and can be activated at any time.

Crosby is dealing with a calf injury right now and expects to be ready for the start of the season. The Packers have Sam Ficken handling kicking duties during training camp.

Crosby, 34, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2007. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $16.1 million contract and set to make a base salaries of $3.2 million for the 2019 season.

Crosby will be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.

In 2018, Crosby appeared in all 16 games and converted 30 of 37 attempts (81.1 percent) to go along with 34 of 36 extra point tries (94.4 percent).
