Packers Promote Three, Sign TE Isaac Nauta To Practice Squad

The Green Bay Packers announced Saturday that they’ve promoted TE Dominique Dafney, WR Juwann Winfree and OG Ben Braden to their active roster and signed TE Isaac Nauta to their practice squad.

Nauta, 23, was drafted by the Lions in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Georgia. He signed a four-year, $2.6 million rookie contract but was waived coming out of the preseason. 

Nauta has bounced on and off the Lions practice squad and active roster for his first two seasons in the league. He was just waived by the team a few days ago. 

For his NFL career, Nauta has appeared in 13 games and caught three passes for 16 yards.
