The Packers confirmed that they’ve promoted OL Adam Pankey to their active roster and signed G Darrell Greene to their practice squad.

The Green Bay Packers are promoting rookie OL Adam Pankey to their active roster on Wednesday, according to his agent.

This comes after the Packers made some surprising roster moves on Tuesday with the release of DL Ricky Jean-Francois and CB Ladarius Gunter.
Pankey, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Packers cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
Pankey has yet to appear in an NFL game.
