Packers RB Jamaal Williams Transported To Hospital After Taken Off On Stretcher

Packers RB Jamaal Williams was carted off of the field during the first quarter of Thursday’s game after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit from Eagles DE Derek Barnett

Williams was able to give a thumbs-up upon being stretchered off the field by the training staff, but has since been transported to a local hospital, according to Michele Steele

The Packers announced that Williams is being evaluated for head and neck injuries. The good news is that Williams as feeling in all his extremities.

Williams, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2017. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $2.96 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $645,000 and $735,000 over the final two years of the deal. 

Entering tonight’s game, Williams had appeared in three games and rushed for 87 yards on 26 carries to go along with seven receptions for 55 yards receiving and one touchdown.
