Packers Rule Out QB Aaron Rodgers For Week 14

The Green Bay Packers have QB Aaron Rodgers officially listed as out for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, per Rob Demovsky.

Rodgers was able to make some progress during Thursday’s padded practice, but HC Mike McCarthy seemed to suggest that he was unlikely suit up this weekend.

This means that Rorgers will now miss his fifth straight game following a fractured collarbone. Matt Flynn has been taking all of the team’s first-string reps this week and will get another start on Sunday.

Rodgers initial timetable suggested that he could miss 4-6 weeks, but after scans earlier this week produced less than desirable results, it appears as though he’ll need at least another week to heal.

We’ll have more regarding Rodgers’ status in the coming days.
