Packers Signing LB B.J. Bello To PS, Release LB Brady Sheldon

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Packers are signing LB B.J. Bello to their practice squad on Monday.

The Packers are releasing LB Brady Sheldon from the unit to make room for Bello.

Here’s the Packers updated practice squad:

  1. RB Tra Carson
  2. CB Kabion Ento
  3. DL James Looney
  4. T Yosh Nijman
  5. LB Randy Ramsey
  6. LB Brady Sheldon
  7. WR Malik Taylor
  8. QB Manny Wilkins
  9. G Ben Braden
  10. WR Keon Hatcher
  11. LB B.J. Bello

Bello, 24, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois State back in 2017. He spent over a year in Cleveland before he was waived and later signed to the Cardinals’ practice squad last year.

Bello had a brief stint with the Eagles before signing on with the Texans this past July. Houston waived him with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

The Texans waived Bello from I.R. with a settlement soon after.

For his career, Bello has appeared in 19 games and recorded six tackles.
