Packers Tried Out Six Players

The Green Bay Packers brought in six free agents on Thursday for workouts.

The full list includes:

  1. CB Lorenzo Doss
  2. CB Dee Delaney
  3. CB Rojesterman Farris
  4. CB Ashton Lampkin
  5. S Innis Gaines
  6. TE Matthew Wilkerson

Doss, 26, was a fifth-round pick by the Broncos out of Tulane back in 2015. He was in the second year of his rookie contract when he was waived in 2017 for being late to a team meeting. He was later signed and released from the Bills practice squad.

Doss later signed a futures contract with the Panthers in 2018 and was on and off of their practice squad, eventually being promoted to their active roster for a game. He was among Carolina’s final roster cuts for the 2019 season and was drafted by the New York Guardians of the XFL.

In 2018, Doss appeared in one game for Carolina and recorded one tackle.

Delaney, 25, went undrafted out of Miami back in 2018 before signing with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent. He failed to make their 53-man roster but was signed to the practice squad and was promoted to the active roster twice before being waived once again.

Delaney was claimed off of waivers by the Dolphins and was waived and re-signed to the practice squad. He then signed a futures contract with the team in February of 2019 but was waived three months later.

From there, Delaney had a brief stint with the Jets before signing on with Washington in 2019.

In 2019, Delaney appeared in one game for Washington and recorded no statistics.
