The Carolina Panthers waived OT Corey Robinson on Tuesday to make room for OT Marshall Newhouse, who was acquired in a trade with the Bills.
Robinson, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Lions back in 2015. The Lions traded him to the Panthers for a conditional 2020 seventh round pick coming out of the preseason.
Robinson is currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.338 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.
In 2018, Robinson has been active for two games.
