Patrick Willis’ Injury Is Not Believed To Be Serious

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis suffered a sprained ankle during Sunday’s improbable loss to the Vikings, but the team does “not consider it to be serious“.

There were reports that Willis was walking without a limp following the 49ers’ loss to the Minnesota Vikings, but this development puts them to rest.

Willis’ status will remain unknown until later in the week, but if he can’t go on Sunday, Larry Grant will take the field alongside fellow starting ILB Navorro Bowman.
