Martin, 25, originally signed on with the Texans as anย undrafted free agent out of UCF back in May of last year. Unfortunately, Martin lasted just a few weeks in Houston before he was cut loose and later joined the Patriots for training camp.
Coming out of the preseason,ย Martin was unable to make the Patriots’ 53-man roster, but was later added to their practice.ย Martin briefly returned to the Texans before the 49ers signed him to a future/ reserve contract in December of last year.
The Dolphinsย wound up signing him to a contract last month,ย but waived him this past weekend.
Martin has yet to appear in an NFL game.
