Patriots Re-Sign DB Brandon King To Two-Year Deal

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Patriots have re-signed DB Brandon King to a two-year deal through 2019.

  • According to Ben Volin, King receives a two-year, $2.6m deal with a $400k signing bonus.

King, 24, wound up signing on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in May of 2015. He was unfortunately among their final roster cuts that season but was later signed to their practice squad.

The Patriots brought back King each of the past two seasons on one-year, exclusive rights contracts.

In 2017, King appeared in 13 games for the Patriots and recorded eight tackles and a safety.
