According to Mike Reiss, the Patriots have re-signed DE Geneo Grissom to their practice squad and cut OL Anthony Fabiano to make room for him.
The Patriots’ practice squad now consists of:
- OL James Ferentz
- DL Geno Grissom
- WR Cody Hollister
- DB David Jones
- DB Damarius Travis
- CBÂ Ryan Lewis
- DB Jomal Wiltz
- TE Will Tye
- NT Mike Purcell
Grissom, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2015. He spent a portion of his rookie season on the Patriots’ practice squad before being called up in October.
New England elected to cut Grissom loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad before promoting him a few weeks later. They promoted him to their active roster back in September but waived him earlier this week.
In 2017, Grissom has appeared in four games for the Patriots and recorded one tackle.
