Patriots Re-Sign DL Alan Branch To A Two-Year Deal

Blake Baratz, the agent for veteran DL Alan Branch, announced that via his Twitter account that his client has re-signed with the Patriots.

  • Pro Football Talk reports that Branch receives a two-year deal worth a maximum of $6.6 million

Branch, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2007. He signed a one-year contract with the Bills back in April of last year, but he wound up being released before the start of the season.

New England would later sign him to a contract in October of last year.

In 2014, Branch appeared in eight games for the Patriots and recorded 13 tackles and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing a total of 165 snaps last season.
