Patriots Re-Sign WR Jace Billingsley To PS, Place WR Riley McCarron On Injured List

The New England Patriots have re-signed WR Jace Billingsley to their practice squad on Tuesday and placed WR Riley McCarron on the practice squad injured list.

The Patriots’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. DE Trent Harris
  2. CB Jomal Wiltz
  3. RB Ralph Webb
  4. QB Danny Etling
  5. DT Vincent Valentine
  6. C/G James Ferentz
  7. OT Eric Smith
  8. TE Stephen Anderson
  9. RB Kenneth Farrow
  10. WR Riley McCarron (Injured)
  11. WR Jace Billingsley

Billingsley, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Oregon back in 2016. Unfortunately, the Lions waived him coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.

Billingsley was called up toward the end of last year, but he was once again among the Lions’ final roster cuts and he later signed on to the Patriots’ practice squad.

In 2017, Billingsley appeared in two games but did not record a statistic.
