The New England Patriots announced Saturday that they have signed DT Kelcy Quarles to their practice squad and removed TE Allen Reisner to make room for him.
As things stand right now, the Patriots’ practice squad consists of:
- DL Jake Bequette
- WR Josh Boyce
- LB Ja’Gared Davis
- RB Jonas Gray
- OL Chris Martin
- DL Deonate Skinner
- RB Marcus Thigpen
- G Chris Baker
- QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson
- DT Kelcy Quarles
Quarles, 22, signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina back in May. However, he was among the team’s final roster cuts as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players this past weekend.
During his three years at South Carolina, Quarles recorded 105 tackles, 23.5 tackles for a loss, and 13 sacks.
