Pro Football Talk reports that the New England Patriots have finally reached an agreement with first-round pick LB Dont’a Hightower.
This is hardly surprising as we’ve been waiting for the first domino to fall in regards to the remaining first-round picks that have yet to sign. Rookie have very little leverage now that the NFL has adopted the slotting system for draft picks, so the issue was related to the amount of guaranteed money that would be included in the deal.
