Former Falcons CB Robert McClain announced via his Twitter account Wednesday that he’s signing with the Patriots.

The Dolphins reportedly had shown interest in McClain a few weeks ago, but there wasn’t any news until the Patriots brought him in for a workout on Tuesday.
McClain, 26, appeared in all 16 games for the Falcons and recorded 59 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and five pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 90 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.
