The New England Patriots waived G Harland Gunn just a few days after they claimed him off of waivers from the Atlanta Falcons, according to the NFL Transactions release.
- The Patriots also signed OT Mark Asper and TE Mason Brodine to a contracts.
Gunn, 25, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2012. His stay in Dallas was short lived, as they placed him on waivers at the start of the regular season.
From there, Gunn had a brief stint with the Saints before signing on to the Falconsโ practice squad in November of 2012. Atlanta wound up placing him on waivers last week.
In 2014, Gunn appeared in 10 games for the Falcons, but played a total of 93 snaps.
