Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that the Seattle Seahawks and WR Percy Harvin have reached an agreement on six-year, $67 million contract that includes $25.5 million guaranteed.
Harvin will receive $12.845 million annually and $36 million in the first three years.
- 2013 โ $2.5 million
- 2014 โ $11 million
- 2015 โ $10.5 million
- 2016 โ $9.9 million
- 2017 โ $11.15 million
This contract makes Harvin the fifth highest paid receiver in the league. Certainly, this is a huge deal for Harvin as he was set to make only $2.775 million this season under his previous contract.
Finding gems in the mid-to-late rounds of the draft clearly affords them the ability to bring in impact talent to win now.
