Peyton Manning Reportedly Has Job With Colts Waiting For Him When He’s Ready

According to Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com, Peyton Manning has a job waiting for him with the Colts if he wants it and Manning is reportedly well aware of this.

Breer says that if Manning accepts a position with the Colts, it’s likely would have a title in akin to Executive Vice President of Football Operations and a similar role within the organization as John Elway has with the Broncos.

As of now, it remains to be seen whether Manning has agreed to join the Colts of even if he’s seriously considering the idea.

This comes after the news that the Colts have officially parted ways with GM Ryan Grigson, who spent five years with the team.

Breer points out that Manning isn’t going to take any job unless he’s 100 percent committed to seeing it through. Of course, Manning could have more opportunities available outside of joining the Colts’ front office if he’s ready to return to the NFL in a new capacity.

Yesterday, Breer suggested that the Browns, Colts and Saints as a few teams who could make sense for Manning. Although, Breer didn’t rule out Manning his family possibly looking to buy into a franchise at some point.

Colts owner Jim Irsay is holding a press conference shortly, so more details should be available soon.

We’ll have more regarding the Colts as the news is available.
