Problems Continue For Peyton Hillis

Browns RB Peyton Hillis figured to be in line for a pretty big game yesterday but the team wasn’t able to get much of anything going on the ground which may have had something to do with Hillis’s hamstring injury.

Hillis wound up hurting his hamstring his second carry of the afternoon but wound up finish the drive despite the injury. He finished the game with 14 yards on six carries for the entire game while backup RB Montario Hardesty added 35 yards on 11 carries.

The Madden curse has shown to come in several different forms but Hillis’s 2011 season has been as rocky as any. A lot has been made about his decision to sit out a previous game because of a sore throat and as soon as that is over, he returns only to get hurt. Hillis will be a free agent at the end of the season and at this point it would seem as though he could be moving on.
