Raiders Claim WR Greg Little Off Waivers From The Browns

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Raiders have claimed WR Greg Little off of waivers from the Browns.

The Browns waived Little late last week after they signed veteran receivers Miles Austin and Earl Bennett.

Little, 24, clearly hasn’t lived up to his draft status, which could be attributed to his continuous struggles with drops over the course of his first few years in the NFL, so this is likely to be a concern moving forward.

Oakland could really use some extra depth at receiver after they didn’t come away with a wide out in this year’s draft. Even with concerns regarding Little’s inability to consistently catch the ball, it makes sense to take a shot on a guy heading into OTAs and training camp.

Last year, he appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and caught 41 passes for 465 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
