Raiders Interviewing Eliot Wolf For Front Office Job, Met With Browns Tuesday

Rob Demovsky reports that Packers executive Eliot Wolf has an offer to join the Raiders’ front office.

  • Michael Gehlken reports that the Raiders are interesting Wolf for a senior position in player personnel department Thursday in Alameda. As of now, the job title for Wolf has yet to be defined.

Wolf interviewed for a position with the Browns on Tuesday, so it’s clear that he’s an in-demand front office option for a few teams around the league.

It’s worth mentioning that Packers new GM Brian Gutekunst said he’s hoping to retain Wolf as his right-hand man in their personnel department.

The Packers could block Wolf from taking another job, given that he’s still under contract with the team. However, it sounds like they won’t be doing so this time around.

Both the Browns and Raiders have obvious ties to Wolf. In Cleveland, John Dorsey and Alonzo Highsmith, both of whom have previously worked with Wolf in Green Bay and the same can be said for current Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie along with the fact that it was actually his Wolf’s father, Ron, who led the GM research that resulted in McKenzie getting the job.

We’ll have more regarding Wolf as the news is available.
